CertiK has joined the XDC Network's validator system, and the two parties have signed a memorandum of understanding. Under the agreement, the New York-based Web3 security company will deploy and operate validator nodes on the XDC network as an institutional masternode validator, with the collaboration focusing on trade finance, corporate settlement, and real-world asset tokenization scenarios.

CertiK is responsible for running the verification nodes.

XDC Network is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain positioned for payments, trade finance, and RWA (Real-Time Asset Transaction) services. Its network architecture combines public chain transparency with private sub-network capabilities, catering to institutional settlement and asset on-chain needs.

With this integration, CertiK will place node security capabilities directly at the network infrastructure layer. Atul Khekade, co-founder of XDC, stated that bringing in blockchain security companies like CertiK helps send a clearer infrastructure signal to institutional users.

SkyNode provides 24/7 protection.

According to disclosures from both parties, CertiK will use the SkyNode node solution to provide 24/7 monitoring and protection for XDC, mainly including continuous vulnerability scanning, automated threat mitigation, and node-level penetration testing.

Architecturally, this solution will also employ multi-regional sentinel nodes and redundant failover design to maintain consensus continuity and high availability during network congestion. For institutions evaluating blockchain settlement networks, operational stability and security are typically prerequisites, and this is the core selling point of this collaboration.

  • Continuous vulnerability scanning and automated threat mitigation
  • Node-level penetration testing and multi-region deployment
  • Redundancy failover to improve availability

XDC continues to expand its institutional validator network.

This collaboration also signifies XDC's continued expansion of its institutional validator list. Existing supporters include Deutsche Telekom, SBI Holdings, Animoca Brands, HashKeyCloud, Republic Crypto, and UOB Venture Management.

Both parties stated that future cooperation will continue to focus on trusted trade finance infrastructure, asset tokenization, and the institutional digital asset ecosystem. As traditional financial institutions accelerate their evaluation of on-chain settlement and asset on-chain solutions, validator quality and network resilience are becoming important criteria for public blockchains to attract institutional business.
